I was born synaesthetic. Information sensed in my hearing and language fields get transferred to the visual part of the brain.
I have ’coloured’ hearing. I visualise music while I hear it.
Language is perceived as shades of colours.
I have a passion for classical music. I studied the music of Stravinsky, Händel and Gershwin and then captured their different structures, movements & moods as four paintings. The layers of paint are built up over several days. Then the surface is etched with knives to create the movement.
